At the 2nd Congress of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN), held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from May 28–31 2016, Giovanni Frisoni, MD, from Geneva University Hospital, Geneva, Switzerland, highlights issues in the validation and implementation of biomarkers for the management of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and discusses the aim of a task force from Geneva to define a consistent use of biomarkers in clinical practice.
