At the 31st International Conference of Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI), held in Budapest, Hungary, from April 21–24 2016, Anders Wimo MD, PhD, from Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden, discusses the economic impact of dementia as presented by the World Alzheimer Report 2015, which updates ADI’s global estimates of the prevalence, incidence and costs of dementia based on systematic reviews.
