AAIC 2017 | Genetic contributors to Alzheimer’s disease

Julie Williams

While several genes associated with immune function have been recently implicated in the development of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), their contribution to disease progression is still unknown. Julie Williams, PhD, BSc from Cardiff University, Cardiff, UK gives us an overview of the ways in which researchers are trying to understand the influence of these genes on AD. This interview was recorded at the 2017 Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) held in London, UK.
