AAIC 2017 | New IDEAS: biomarkers in AD patient outcomes

The identification of biomarkers relating to Alzheimer’s disease (AD) has led to significant advances in our understanding of the disorder. Liana Apostolova, MD, MS from Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, IN speaks with us about how biomarkers have improved the field, and describes the IDEAS project (NCT02420756), a longitudinal cohort study examining the impact of amyloid PET scans on AD patient outcomes.
