ARUK 2021 | The impact of antibodies use on biomedical research

Francesco Antonio Aprile, PhD, Imperial College London, London, UK, discusses the impact of antibody use on biomedical research. The use of antibodies finds applicability in the study of several diseases and biological processes. Specifically, the importance of studying the disease mechanisms in dementia is highlighted. Antibodies can be translated into diagnostic tools or therapeutic antibodies, impacting the clinical setting. This interview took place during the Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) Conference 2021.
