Improving understanding of neurological conditions from a young age is of great benefit in building a society that is aware of and supports those living with, or caring for those, with these disorders. Here, Shanti Shanker, PhD, of Bournemouth University, Bournemouth, UK, discusses the feedback from schools in which the Building Resilience and Awareness through Neuropsychology Education in the Society (BRANES) project was trialed. Dr Shanker also emphasizes useful feedback from dementia sufferers and their carers who took part in a ‘memory cafe’ session. This video was recorded at the Alzheimer’s Research UK Conference 2018, held in London, UK.
