AAIC 2018 | Refining techniques for stem cell models

Stem cell models are an extremely useful, unbiased research tool; however, they can be overwhelming as they present researchers with large quantities of data that needs to be sifted through. In this video, recorded at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) 2018, held in Chicago, IL, Celeste Karch, PhD, of Washington University in St. Louis, St. Louis, WA, explains how her approach can reduce this effect. In this method, data from stem cell models are validated against human tissue and then bioinformatic analyses are conducted, simplifying and refining stem cell model research.
