VJVirtual | Possible link between vitamin B12 levels and dementia in Parkinson’s disease

Rodolfo Savica, MD, PhD and Stuart McCarter, MD, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, discuss a study evaluating whether vitamin B12 level at Parkinson’s disease (PD) diagnosis predicts the development dementia. Results show that higher levels of serum vitamin B12 at PD diagnosis correlate with lower risk of future dementia.
