Corinne Fischer, MD, University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada, explains two sets of diagnostic criteria for dementia-related psychosis. The first of these is clinically based and the second is a research framework criteria. Dr Fischer discusses the challenges of treating and diagnosing dementia-related psychosis, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of each of the sets of criteria.
