Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) is recognised as one of the leading causes of dementia. Ian McKeith, FMedSci, MD, FRSB, FRCPsych from Newcastle University, Newcastle, UK tells us about the progress which has been made in our ability to manage DLB, giving details about the recently released guidelines which facilitate the diagnosis of the condition.
