AAIC 2020 | Atypical presentation of Alzheimer’s disease in younger patients

Costantino Iadecola, MD, Feil Family Brain and Mind Research Institute, Weill Cornell Medicine, New York, NY, shares his highlights from the virtual Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) 2020. He talks about the importance of early-onset Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis, especially as its presentation is atypical to Alzheimer’s disease in older patients. Instead of predominant memory issues, young people may develop mental health issues or visual impairments. This interview was recorded during an online conference with The Video Journal of Dementia (VJDementia).
