AAIC 2017 | Alzheimer’s disease: from terminal to chronic

Marwan Sabbagh, MD, from Barrow Neurological Institute, Phoenix, AZ emphasises the importance of ongoing research in the field of dementia. More doctors are required in the field in order to deliver the latest advances in a clinical setting. He explains how Alzheimer’s disease has gone from being a terminal disease to a chronic one. This should make the disease more attractive to researchers, as more and more people will be living with the disease making it one of the most challenging conditions of our generation.
