At the 31st International Conference of Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI), held in Budapest, Hungary, from April 21–24 2016, Rose-Marie Dröes, PhD, from VU University Medical Centre, EMGO Institute for Health and Care Research, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, reviews the effect of psychosocial interventions on quality of life in people with dementia and their carers, highlighting that are still significant unmet needs in support services.
