AAIC 2017 | Stimulating activities: a must-have in care homes

The amount of activities offered to dementia patients by care homes can vary significantly depending on the institution. Here, Séverine Samson, PhD from University of Lille Nord de France, Lille, France talks about the effect this difference had on the mood of patients as she visited a range of care homes during a recent study. Dr Samson also explains why it is so important that activities to stimulate dementia patients are provided. This interview was recorded at the 2017 Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) in London, UK.
