Kristian Steen Frederiksen, MD, PhD from the Danish Dementia Research Centre, Rigshospitalet, University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark discusses a systematic review of intervention studies on the effects of physical activity on Alzheimer’s disease biomarkers presented at the 2017 Congress of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Dr Frederiksen discusses the reasons for the interest in studying physical activity and its effects on Alzheimer’s and outlines the results of the study.
