What’s in store for research into Alzheimer’s disease?

There is a hopeful outlook regarding the future of Alzheimer’s disease research. Here, Delphine Boche, PhD, from the University of Southampton, Southampton, UK, discusses ongoing and upcoming studies that look to define new treatments targeting microglia. Prof. Boche also sheds light on ongoing clinical trials that focus on tau, and work on the communication between central and peripheral cells within the brain.
