EAN 2017 | Study on diabetes mellitus in a large dementia cohort

Dorota Religa, MD, PhD from the Karolinska Institute, Solna, Sweden gives an overview of a study on diabetes mellitus in a large dementia cohort from Sweden at the 2017 Congress of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Dr Religa explains that people with diabetes get dementia earlier and one implication of this could be to follow-up with diabetes patients earlier in regard to dementia.
