AAIC 2020 | Influenza vaccination may reduce incidence of Alzheimer’s disease

Albert Amran, University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston, TX, discusses the study evaluating the relationship between influenza vaccination and the incidence of Alzheimer’s disease. Results showed that having one flu vaccination was associated with a lower prevalence of Alzheimer’s disease, and receiving the flu vaccine more frequently was associated with an even lower prevalence. This interview was recorded during an online conference call with The Video Journal of Dementia (VJDementia).
