Miwako Honda, MD, National Hospital Organization Tokyo Medical Center, Tokyo, Japan, shares her thoughts on the importance of person-centered dementia care. Dr Honda has been working towards broad implementation of the Humanitude care methodology in Japan. She highlights the importance of building relationships between patients and their caregivers in order for them to feel supported and accepting of their care. This interview took place during the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference 2021.
