AAIC 2021 | Investigating plasma biomarkers in the real-world setting

Alexis Moscoso, PhD, University of Gothenburg, Sweden, talks on the need for research into the use of plasma biomarkers in the real-world setting. While highly promising investigational data has been obtained, the introduction of plasma biomarkers into real-world settings, rather than a highly controlled research setting, is likely to come with some issues. Dr Moscoso highlights the further work needed to address this. This interview took place during the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference 2021.
