AAIC 2017 | Music and cooking therapy: comparing their effects in Alzheimer’s patients

Séverine Samson, PhD from University of Lille Nord de France, Lille, France summarizes the main findings of a randomized controlled trial, Non-pharmacological Care of Alzheimer’s Disease: Benefice of Musical Interventions (NCT02833870), which compared the efficacy of two non-drug-based treatments in the care of Alzheimer’s disease patients. Dr Samson also talks about her hopes for what these results will inspire within dementia-care institutes.
