AAIC 2017 | The benefits of music for dementia patients

Music has been shown to play a beneficial role in the care of dementia patients. Pieter Jelle Visser, MD, PhD from Maastricht University and VU University Medical Center, Amsterdam, Netherlands speaks to us about the talks given at a symposium which was arranged to analyze the efficacy of music in the dementia patients. Prof. Visser discusses the conclusions made, and reveals how the positive effects of music are not just limited to the patient.
