Despite exhibiting pathologies which are strongly indicative of the development of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), certain individuals appear to be more resilient to the symptoms of the disease. Sylvie Belleville, MD, PhD from the University of Montréal, Montréal, Canada explains the common factors between these individuals, and talks us through a study which set out to examine the effect of early cognitive intervention.
