ARUK 2022 | Approaches to treating anxiety in Alzheimer’s disease

Afia Ali, PhD, UCL School of Pharmacy, University College London, London, UK, discusses new approaches to treating anxiety in patients with Alzheimer’s disease (AD). There is a great unmet need for specific treatments for anxiety in AD, as the standard drugs for non-AD anxiety are not well-suited to the treatment of these patients, and can have significant side effects. This interview took place at the Alzheimer’s Research UK Conference 2022 in Brighton, UK.
