Tau deposition is one of the best predictors of cognitive decline in Alzheimer’s disease, so effective imaging of Tau is essential for diagnostics and disease tracking. In this video, recorded at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) 2018, held in Chicago, IL, Elizabeth Mormino, PhD, of Stanford University, Stanford, CA, discusses Tau PET imaging and the many Tau ligands available at the moment. She speaks about her own work on Tau ligand PI-2620, as well as other ligands like MK-6240 and AB-1451, and their clinical significance.
